my dad got a letter of vital nature saying he has won 46k he rang them and sent a letter to them and they replyed that they are not a scam and they have a brochure where you can by stuff. please if any one knows any thing about this company let me know

scam. if hes won it he must have entered the comp to start with and they would never ask for any payment up front if it were a genuine competition

I think what I would do because it doesn't sound right is phone them again and tell them to send the money first and then you can afford to buy from their catalogue. Don't think they will be able to answer that and I imagine they don't talk of any winnings anymore!!!

Yeah it's a huge con. You may well want it to be genuine but that's exactly what the sender will be hoping for, they prey on the hopeful and needy.

 

Do not even respond, if they are made aware that they have up to date contact details they will sell those details (they call them sucker lists) to others that may try to scam your Dad as well.

 

To sum up......SCAM!!!!!!!!

i know it was but my dad is 77 and he got intouch and they said it was real and he belived it then asked me to check it out so thats what i have done.
