MPs weekly grocery allowance = £160

Dole for 25+ year old = £71

Dole for sub-human under 25 year old = £56.25

Should the MPs really have a grocery allowance higher than dole?

Shouldn't they be paying for their groceries out of wages even? - Like everybody else!

What do you think?

They should just get a higher wage instead of all this nonsense with expenses and allowances.

Most MPs take far less than the full amount anyway, many of them less than £160 a year.

Aren't their wages high enough to pay for food though? They get allowances for travel etc.

Why do they need a grocery allowance, are they claiming for a second stomach? Surely they'd be spending money on groceries if they weren't MP's so it's not an additional expense on what they would be spending anyway.
