  1. Sorry for the late reply and thanks to everyone who offered advice. I’ll probably dig it out and try taking the images straight from the computer if I can find the leads etc. If not I’ll give the process I originally queried a go. Hopefully I’ll have some luck.
  2. We have a fairly old computer that’s not been used for some years. We were just reminiscing about some of the photos on there of our children when they were younger. I was wondering how feasible it is to somehow access these pictures again? The computer itself most likely won’t start and the last time I tried to get to the photos it was going really slow. I quickly looked online and there were guides saying it is posible with an adapter, but they didn’t indicate if age/number of years unused would make it impossible. Plus it seemed a little too easy. I was wondering what thoughts more knowledgable people had on this. Thanks Lee
  3. Thanks. Sounds good Andy! Will definitely keep them in mind. Thanks.
  4. Thanks rob ---------- Post added 12-06-2017 at 19:49 ---------- Mosborough FC. They're in the middle of creating another age band within an already established children's band. Hopefully hear back from them in a few weeks regarding a trial. Thanks for the suggestion but he hopefully has found somewhere now.
  5. Thanks rob. A little too far for us though. I should really have put location in the thread. Contacted a couple more today and got a reply so he is potentially sorted.
  6. My son wants to start playing football with a club. He's been wanting to for a couple of years now. This might sound like a silly question but having no experience ourselves do we just contact local clubs? We've contacted a couple of clubs who have advertised places but no response. We were told that due to the season ending we might have to wait for a reply/re-contact closer to the new season. Thanks.

  9. Fantastic. Been to that park many times but not ventured up the path. My plan was to head down towards Shirebrooke Valley so potentially saved me quite a lot of time.
  10. Anyone know of any in the Hackenthorpe area. Move here recently and haven't a clue where any are…but that didn't stop me promising to take the kids out looking for some. Thanks.
  11. Thanks Mafya, pretty much as I was pronouncing it but without the accent :-).
  12. I was just wondering how we go about pronouncing jalapeño in Sheffield. I usually pronounce it with a h instead of a strong j. However, sometimes I get looked at blankly and today when my wife picked up some pizzas and I asked for a spicy one with jalapeño she was corrected by the person making the pizza who said 'you mean jalapeño' and pronounced it with a strong j.

  14. I'm talking about the general attitude to parking on the shops regardless of whether there is a better space only yards away. Doesn't matter if parking is provided, if someone sees somewhere better to park they'll just put the car there regardless of whether it's an actual parking space or not. For example. If someone needs one if the shops further up. Why drive all the way round and find the next available space? Why not use the zebra crossing to access the path and park right on the path?
  15. Also, if parking is as bad as it is on the Birley Spa Lane shops the local residents are in for a treat there as well.
