UPVC lean to porch kit

Hi All

 

Has anyone bought a UPVC lean to porch kit? The one I have seen is £1,700

If so, was it good enough/strong enough or not very good quality.

 

I have been around double glazing firms this weekend. 3 advised a starting figure of £3k and one said £4k minimum for a basic one 2m x 1.5m. The rest would not give an estimate until visiting my house.

When you say porch, do you mean for the front of your house?

Hi Miss Smiley, pretty sure the kit will be fine at £1,700. However,the design will be basic and the spec too. The key thing, is to get yourself a good installer. Only then can any surety of the product be met. Hope this helps!
