walkertelecoms   16 #13 Posted July 17, 2012 (edited) My brother in laws moved out there about 20 years ago, their worth £millions now, corporate interior designers, started with virtually nothing but very industrious and great at networking, it transpires.  An old work colleagues father moved out there too, 10 years ago, took £40k, very comfy and chillaxed lifestyle and still has £30k left work on the basis, his house cleaner, ahem, charges him £5 a week, she gives him 2 hours a day 7 days a week! callippo   10 #14 Posted July 17, 2012 the weather is not always perfect in Thailand. The whole country between Phitsanolouk and Bangkok was basically underwater for months last year, just in case you didn't notice.  having said that it's free of stuff like earthquakes, and also it doesn't get any typhoons, Burma to the west does and Vietnam to the east does too, but not Thailand.  best weather in Thailand is in the north, and I mean north around Chiang Mai rather than north east, as in Isan. It's not too hot and the rainy season is relatively short.
 Share this content via...
