TheDrib Posted April 15, 2012 Share Posted April 15, 2012 I used to work there in the mid 60s, on Friday evenings, filling the shelves in the food court, (mainly pickles, sauces and spices) and all day Saturday (Summer only) when I supported the lower ground floor which was mainly hardware stuff; I kept the paint department stocked. inessex Posted April 16, 2012 Share Posted April 16, 2012 Worked next door at BHS 1968. Amazing how we used to sell almost the same things. Used to have to get there for 7.00 in the morning.
