Owls sold out for derby

Recommended Posts

Owls fans sell tickets 6000 times over !! MASSIVE ;)

HA HA another turnout for a big game, i sure have more respect for the 17,000 who turned out for you on Saturday.

Finance will hold people back for the game Saturday if it was a choice of Hartlepool at home or a local Derby its a bit of a no brainer.

If the home end at Bramall Lane had sold out earlier this season would you be reacting the same way? Thats me assuming we sell out, which looks probable

I don't get what you are saying, are you saying the only gave you a quarter of the upper lane end?.

If so you are wrong.

Im saying that in this Seasons Derby United gave us 4,200 tickets which was supposedly all of the top and bottom tier. This wasn't the case the top tier was nearly empty as United didn't/wouldn't give us all the tickets.

Shows what this club could be if Mandaric & Megson get it right.

Wonder when the last time there was a sell out for the home end at a Steel City Derby at either ground?

Your right, always loads of empty blue seats, respect the regular supporters.

Rubbish the police insisted on the silly formation of seats ! leaving plenty of access, and easy reach of sectioned supporters. nowt to do with United, United allocated the full top section..its then down to the Police , health and safty and any other numpty who wants to get involved!

It did look daft .but to suggest that was United fault is rubbish, we love the Blue pound!! another 1000 x £25.

Would not give you all the tickets!!!!! are you really that ill informed and bitter ?

The police put in various new measures for crowd control inside and out side the stadia...At their insistance not Uniteds...or are you not acknowledging those either!!

Am very surprised at your post, i thought you were a little more knowledgable and open minded.

As someone else has pointed out you are talking nonsense [read his post].

I think the early days of your sensible unbiased posts and your own lot on here accusing you of being a Blade for it have now taken their toll on your posts and clouded your previously very good judgement of the facts.

the great city support.....it was massive in 1948-1954........both clubs averaging more than 30,000......mind you the country went football crazy after the war...

wednesday enjoyed 1960-67-68.....that was it...

united added 1972-2007.....this really makes our city massive in the footballing world....

If M&M take this club up and keep on progressing then the attendances will rise by a fair few, the fans are out there as the attendances for some games this season shows.

If the home end sells out for this fixture, what would your opnion of that be? Fair weather fans or credit to them for suuporting their team? Would the opnion differ if we were talking about Sheff Utd fans?

We should just give them the minimum 3,000 even if it means leaving the rest empty.
