Number Six
people just tend to go to there local working mens club its abit of a dump but the kids enjoy running round with other children and lots of familys go, its a cheap night! I don't think a 9 month old would be running around, or enjoy being awake so late.
swimityswim
I've found the best place for young families tends to be a house party. Is that an option? I don't know of anything else going on - sorry! Hope you have a great time.
medusa
Why don't you get together with other friends who have little ones and have a little party at one of the homes? That way round when it gets to bedtime you can get all the little ones in a big bed upstairs and someone downstairs can keep a baby monitor with them. swimityswim
I don't think a 9 month old would be running around, or enjoy being awake so late. Each to their own. It's one night a year. Also, I know people whose babies slept beautifully in the general hubub of a restaurant or other busy place. Incidentally, my eldest didn't sleep till midnight until he was over a year old. No amount of 'routine' would make him realise bed time was 7pm!

swimityswim
"It's one night a year." As is tonight and every other night. Very true. Most people don't celebrate something every other night though. House parties are the way to go with little ones. Mainly because in our culture so few people welcome little ones as part of the crowd.
