per1 Â Â 10 #6 Posted July 4, 2011 Lead is always the best material to use on bays,valleys,chimneys ect.It will outlast any other material on the market. But due to its scrap value it does pose a risk of theft (especially groundfloor bays ). If in doubt go for felt/ grp. Ifs its first floor/roof level go for lead.
