mazahy
During the bad weather some children took a day or two off school. At hunter's bar juniors during the school assembly children who had not taken a day off were told to stand up, the rest of the children were told they should be ashamed of them selves. I do not think this was fair as the parents decide if a child can go to school or not. Also I dont think its right to talk to children like that. Let me know whet you think cheers

Lucy-Lastic
Hunters Bar Juniors has a huge catchment and children come in from places like Netherthorpe so if that was said it does seem a bit wrong (especially if the fault was put on the children rather than a stern letter going to the parents). I would complain to somebody higher up about that as children get enough bullying in school.
Bonjon
People have legs, they should use them, if the schools that far away maybe they are in the wrong catchment area? Often parents lie to try and get into a school in a better catchment area?

Especially with the news network that is Sheffield forum, i'm sure the school wouldn't want to appear on here after classics such as 'hot custart', 'hot food', 'cold food', 'slippery play grounds' and many others.
