Why were the Police at Deerlands Flats last night?

Recommended Posts

I live in S5 and im hoping to become self employed as is my partner we have a happy one year old that we dont let run around on the streets and we dont own a big nasty doggy and we dont smoke drugs or drink every night...and i have actually met a few lovely people around Firth Park and dont think its fair to judge everyone without seeing the bigger picture.

I however do prefer hillsborough to all the places ive lived (which before anyone asks include, stocksbridge, middlewood, fox hill, shalesmoor, burngreave, shiregreen, nottingham and now Firth Park) and the only places i'd ever consider moving back too is the top end of fox hill, and Hillsborough.

The police seem to have been around alot of areas recently to be honest so i think everyone slagging some area of should hold their tongues!

Yet another flat resident was escorted out today with a set of police handcuffs applied, it's like win loose or draw who will be the next to OD or Arrested , tune in next week !!

Spoke too early, yet another visit to the flats by Sheffield's finest plods this morning.

Isn't it about time they sorted this or at the least rent out a flat to the police to save on petrol ?

excuse me not everyone in S5 are druggies or thieves so you shouldnt class everyone the same it's not fair to the hard working genuine people of S5 of which all members of my family are. These people who call S5 have you ever been there let alone lived there

If you are reffering to what I wrote in a PP then read the bit what says so say the mighty people of sheffield forum. Wish people would read everything and not just what they want to read..

I will slag the Cross as i lived on it for 47 years, for the last 6 years it has earned its reputation it now carries, too many properties given to undeserving individuals.

I wouldn't call myself a snob or anything but it got too rough for me, i was fortunate enough to be able to better myself & move on,i just feel sorry for the decent folk who are left there. The cross needs a decent dose of chav cleansing.

i think this has just got out of control, All i said was what happen at the flats and some people are choosing to slag it off regardless of whether they live in S5 or not. everywhere has there bad places and good places but to be quite honest i have only lived here for 3 months and i would say that its 10 times better then where i use to live in sutton in ashfield nottingham. So i think if no-one has anything construtive to say then dont bother saying anything at all!!!!!!
