Pseudonym   10 #10 Posted July 29, 2009 The Star article is entitled "Hi-tech way to tackle gang crime"  I suggest a very low-tech way instead that's considerably cheaper, longer-lasting, infinitely more effective, provides much greater satisfaction for most of its users and is relatively environmentally-friendly.  My suggestion is simple, select a prominent area and build a substantial set of stocks in which to lock any local anti-social scum and then provide a good supply of rotten vegetables to hand. This was quite a popular and effective solution at one time and I don't see why it shouldn't be just as effective today.  If this should prove insufficient deterrent to these idiots, then of course there's always hanging, drawing and quartering to fall back on.
