  1. Hi, does anyone know the year that Tesco on Chesterfield road (woodseats) opened. my dad seems to think it was there in 1974 but my mum thinks it was built later than that. Can anyone settle the argument? Thank you
  2. I know exactly what you mean. We said that we would start buying big things once i'd had the scan and like you, we know exactly which pram we want and chosen the crib too. We've decided to hold off for the pram though as i've since heard that the prams 2 year warranty will run from the purchase date, not from the date that the pram is delivered (which would be in october time) so it's better for us to hold off.
  3. I didn't get a letter through the post, it must have either got lost or was never sent, so didn't take anything with me, not even my maternity record. I did a urine sample while I was there. They have little tubs on the reception desk for samples so I guess a lot of people usually wait until they get there. My due date doesnt match my period - we've gone back two weeks. Baby was really curled over and so the midwife couldnt measure him/her properly. We have to go back in two weeks to try and measure again - can't wait to meet baby again!!!!!! :-D Bet you're soooooooo looking forward to thursday, it'll be amazing :-D
  4. Hi, Yes I had a scan last wednesday and baby was fine. He/she was waving it's arms around and kicking and its tiny heart was beating strongly - it was amazing, absolutely amazing and i'm so so happy. I worried when I stopped feeling the morning sickness, but baby is fine and i'm sure your little one will be fine too so try not to worry. Let me know how you get on on Thursday. :-D
  5. Thank you for your comments. I have noticed recently that although i no longer feel sick all day, if I eat/drink certain things, i feel quite sickly. Thanks again.
  6. Does anyone know if both parents have to be baptised before a child can be baptised? Also, is there a limit to the number of godparents? I know usually there are two but is it possible to have three? Thank you
  7. I can't decide on a name for a boy. I like Oscar, Joseph, Billy, Harry and Samuel.
  8. Yes that's it exactly. I'm still waiting to hear back about my first scan appointment and really need the scan to be fully assured that the baby is ok. I keep thinking, should i do another test (i've done 4 already) but i know i'm being silly really. It's good to know that others have felt the same way too.
  9. Some reassuring replies, thank you. xx
  10. Thanks for the replies. Madafish, I calculated my pregnancy from the first day of my last period and it was confirmed by a midwife so I should be almost 11 weeks pregnant. I am coming to end of my third month so that could be why the morning sickness has gone. It just seems strange to have gone from feeling really sickly for most of the day to suddenly nothing at all. Thanks again everyone.
  11. Hi I am almost 11 weeks pregnant and up until recently I had quite abit of morning sickness and felt extremely tired and quite weak. Now all of a sudden these symptoms have gone and I'm worried that it may mean there is a problem with the baby. I know these syptoms ease after the first trimester but mine vanished in my 10th week. Is this normal? I've not had any pain (other than very mild period pains) or blood loss, which is a good sign. Thanks in advance.
  12. Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll give them a try.
  13. I fully charged mine yesterday morning and just before going to bed at 1am last night I had 50% charge on the battery. This morning at 9am, I had 2% left on the battery. It hadn't been used through the night at all. I think I normally charge the phone every other day.
