Simple or idiots, i'd consider a bit harsh. Naive, gullible and thoughtless would be more fitting.

Or you could use. Isolated, abandoned, disconnected from the political protest.

When you look at it like that the problem doesn't lie with the BNP. They have done their job and spoken to these people. The problem lies with the main parties for not listening to peoples concerns.

I do agree though that people have a right to vote for who they want. If you want to stop people voting BNP then offer them a viable alternative. That doesn't sound like something current MPs are doing.

You could use those terms and I don't discount your logic at all, in fact I largely agree with it, but at the same time adults should be trusted to at least think for themselves a bit. It really is as if we haven't evolved in the last 100 or so years and WW2 never happened

Well every difference of opinion is borne out of people having differing thoughts. :)

So yeah, I guess you hit the nail on the head, it's because I don't believe that people should be kicked out of this country based on skin colour

To be honest neither do a lot of BNP voters. What they do believe is that a balance has been lost. When people come to the UK then they should integrate to UK way of life not expect the UK to bend to theirs. Its about balance. When the indigenous population feel they are treated as inferior to the migrant population its going to end in tears.

What like the Brits in Spain do? :hihi:

Trouble is, I think that most of the reason that people feel they are treated as second best to immigrants is down to media trends and ignorance/misconception.

Anyway, it's only really been an issue since the recession kicked off. When times are good, no-one really cares how many immigrants are allowed to a country. We've seen all this before....

i found it interesting that on the labour party's website they focus more on what they have achieved than what the intend to achieve in the future surely that's more important?

Nick Griffin leader of the BNP on...

Homosexuality

Griffin wrote an article for Spearhead in June 1999 after the Admiral Duncan pub bombing. He said, "The TV footage of dozens of gay demonstrators flaunting their perversions in front of the world's journalists showed just why so many ordinary people find these creatures so repulsive."

On racial separation

In 1985 Griffin praised black separatist Louis Farrakhan in Nationalist Today. He said, "White Nationalists everywhere, wish Farrakhan well for we share a common struggle for the same ends: racial separation and racial freedom."

In the Panorama interview, Griffin said, "We haven't given up on our principle that mono racial countries... mono ethnic countries are more stable, it's far easier to preserve human rights and freedom within those whereas multi-racial societies always end up going right down the road of tyranny."

Any more evidence required?

Clearly that is exactly what the good people of the SF want if the vote is anything to go by.

Partly its the media i agree. But its also partly because it has got to a point where the establishment has tied its self in so many PC knots that its afraid to act. When areas are no go for whites (deny it or not that the case in bits of Darnall and more so in other cities), when its OK to take the P*** out of Christianity but to do it about Islam lands you in jail, that if you are ethnic you seem to get every grant available while hard working British people are Left without any safety net.

They are little things and insignificant on there own. Many liberals will come on here a say nonsense its just peoples imagination. But they all lead to the growing sense that the country has a 2 tere system.

Saying nonsense and hoping it will go away is counter productive and just as un educated as swinging to the far right. You don't calm a situation down by ignoring it. Some hard decisions need to be publicly made that say "OK a few groups may be annoyed but common sense must prevail".

I don't blame immigrants and minorities. If i was given carte blanche to do as i like and given a race relations get out of jail card, I'd use it.

No other country treats its indigenous population with such disdain. Thats why France has a whole ghetto of people trying to get here.

If Labour or Tory parties address that, and send a clear message that you are welcome if you integrate but not if you want to set up an enclave of the middle east in a British city or attempt to subvert out values then they will sweep to victory. The other effect would be that the BNP would return to a fringe movement with little main stream support.

The is not far right rhetoric (thats one thing i have never supported), its a simple synopsis of what many British people think and feel. The less informed will use this to justify voting BNP, the more informed?? well what do they do. No other party seems to want to accept that its an issue.

Sorry if that was all a bit long but. "BNP voters are idiots" winds me up. It shows exactly the lack of inteligence and name calling that causes the problems.

Educate and give people an alternative thats how you stop the BNP. Not by further isolating those that vote for them because they are already isolated.

cuey you speak of indeginous people...what about native americans and the aborigines?

Our ancestors colonized america and forced the native americans out and then fought for independence and with australia we sent all our convicts over there they have more or less got rid of Aborigines but have now learnt to live with them.

So don't you think its a little Ironic how the BNP want to force imigrants out?

Not really, given that two-thirds of people who've voted in the poll have chosen another party.

But it is interesting that every poll on SF shows the BNP doing far better than they do in reality. If they take 10% of votes - one in ten of the 25-40% who will vote - then that will easily be their best ever result.

Similarly, although this poll shows Labour behind not just the Conservatives and Lib Dems, but also behind UKIP, the BNP and the Greens, they're likely to come second in the real poll in Yorkshire and the Humber - just behind the Tories.
