Im sure Dr Who was on one time.  it's unlikely that you will have seen the TV series there, but you may well have seen the film "Dr Who and The Daleks" at The Ritz. You'd be more than welcome I'm sure.  As an 18 year old I used to drink in The Beagle with Tony Pellergrina, when Joe Williams was still the landlord Still see his brother Stuart every now and then  Reminds me of a song we sang at Mansell Youth Club  THE CHI-LITES "Have You Seen Her"  Oh, I see her face everywhere I go On the street, and even at the picture show Have you seen her? Tony Pellergrina?  Bless him!  I remember Tony saying a poem about two ladies?? that lived down the road from the Beagle on Knutton cres cant remember it all something about a farting contest cant repeat it or there names on hear but at the time it was very funny, dont know if Tony made it up himself, "or maybe it did happen" Wonder if you can recall that one Steve?
