it's unlikely that you will have seen the TV series there, but you may well have seen the film "Dr Who and The Daleks" at The Ritz. It starred Peter Cushing and Roy Castle and was our first ever experience of the Dr in colour!

Red and Blue Daleks....

then the late tony peligrenia and his girlfriend,

There's a few people meeting there this Friday (29th) for a few beers and to celebrate Smicker's 50th. You'd be more than welcome I'm sure.

As an 18 year old I used to drink in The Beagle with Tony Pellergrina, when Joe Williams was still the landlord

Still see his brother Stuart every now and then

Reminds me of a song we sang at Mansell Youth Club

THE CHI-LITES

"Have You Seen Her"

Oh, I see her face everywhere I go

On the street, and even at the picture show

Have you seen her?

Tony Pellergrina?

Bless him! :)

I remember Tony saying a poem about two ladies?? that lived down the road from the Beagle on Knutton cres cant remember it all something about a farting contest cant repeat it or there names on hear but at the time it was very funny, dont know if Tony made it up himself, "or maybe it did happen"

Wonder if you can recall that one Steve?

No I don't remember that one, but I do recall him quoting lines from a Marx Bros film, the ones about "Dr Hack-en-a-puss!!"
