I missed the first episode, but after enduring about 35 minutes of episode 2 I have no desire to change that.

 

The acting was diabolical and it looked like it was cobbled together for about £250, of which £220 was spent on Eddie Izzard's hair.

Sad to say I got a third of the way into episode two before finally giving up.

 

By this point, any resemblance to the John Wyndham classic was purely coincidental.

 

A monumentally wasted opportunity.
