Schools in Crookes and Walkley

Recommended Posts

Hi there 1 & all. I'm organising a St Mary's Reunion (whether you went to Howard rd or Cundy st), & was just wondering if anyone out there still knows of any teachers or dinner ladies that are still alive & kicking? It would be nice for them to come, if they want.

:help:

If you went to this school then why not come along & have some laughs & meet up with old friends.

It's on Friday 26th March meeting between 7:30 & 8pm at the Walkley Cottage Pub

Many Thanks Jen XX

I was there from probably '53 to '60 I left after 11 plus.

My brother was there about '50 to '58 I think.

My younger brother about '58 to '65

Headmaster was Mr Henstock upto about '58 then Mr Hughes

Miss Bryant and Miss Wright had both taught my dad and uncle in the thirties. We were always being compared to them.

When were you there USUK

How long have you been in the states. We don't graduate from school in England. We just leave.

Ann Winfield was in my class. She lived on Heavygate Ave. I think. Was Judy her older sister?
