Janell   10 #27 Posted January 30, 2010 (edited) Try http://www.mastaplasta.com/repair-your-leather-sofa-not-sure-where-to-start/ I had a hole in my sofa so I called around to get prices from leather repair shops. The quotes were more than the price of my sofa. Started looking for leather repair kits and found this company. they sell leather patches that you just stick on. They came in different colours, shapes and sizes. I am very happy with it Edited February 3, 2010 by Janell
 Share this content via...

Annina   11 #30 Posted May 10, 2013 I have four cats and a leather suite, the cats have turned it into fuzz. Just cover it in big throws and learn to live with it,after all,it is probably just as comfy, and what means more,a posh house or your cats company? ginazoe   10 #31 Posted November 6, 2013 Hi, if you go on ebay you can buy cat claw caps, They look quite funky and come in lots of colours or in clear (mine have red)! They are a little bigger than match stick heads, you just clip the very point of your cats claw off, pop a bit of the special glue inside the cap and pop it on the claw. They only need them on the front paws, they grow out after about 6 months and the cats dont even know they are wearing them! It might sound a little weird but they are brilliant! I have 3 cats and they all wear them. They are really cheap (about £3) but have saved all my carpets and sofa ect!
 Share this content via...

Demon   10 #33 Posted May 9, 2014 That's awful & it aint even funny  actually clipping a cats nails does stop them from scratching humans,,,clawing carpets or damaging furniture...i have a sphinx cat and she has to have her nails clipped every 2 weeks due to her general care ...this i do with human nail clippers and does not cause her any stress ,,another reason for doing this on sphinx cats is to prevent them from scratching and causing cuts to her skin ,,she has never scratched or tried and she is a permanent in house cat
 Share this content via...
woolyhead   15 #34 Posted July 30, 2014 There are specialist people who come round and spray some sort of paint over the scratches and worn places and the coloured "paint" bends with the leather so it doesn't crack or come off. My leather sofa was badly scuffed by the house movers and they sent this guy round free of charge to me. He did a lovely job. Try asking house movers what they would do in such circumstances and get the names/phone number of a specialist.
 Share this content via...
