gularscute
I've eaten there a couple of times and look forward to going again. It has great food, a pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and is obviously coming from an ethical angle.
Starquake
If it's byo only then corkage at all seems a bit off to me - fair enough if you have your own selection of wines etc.
gularscute
It's only a quid. Less than most other restaurants. Diners can buy a nice bottle of their own choosing, pay the corkage fee and still be better off than if they spent a tenner on a ropey house wine in another restaurant. I suppose the Bohemian have to make something out of people bringing their own but at least it's not extortionate.
