Recommended Posts

this is the acctuall truth even though it sound stupid apparently gypsys have took it (we have alot of problems with gypsys on our road for some reason, probably all the open space for um to park around the area, our next door neighbour had their caravan niked by um lol anyway...) apparently they stripped some of it down on site and got the rest onto a lorry n drove off, i live on warren lane and the house right at bottom has it on cctv it was liek 3 in morning aswell so why would they do that if it was for restoration ?

dont think this has any truth in it what so ever.

the tank would be much too heavy for an everyday lorry to take away no matter how much you stripped off it on site.

also who would weigh one in???

The tank was loaded with specialist lifting equipment and taken down to London for renovation work.

I have confirmed witness sightings of a low loader and crane turning up last year at 0800 on a sunday morning to load it.The low loader driver said the tank was being delivered very close to Fulham FC in London. It seems it will never come back to Sheffield so this begs the question ...was it stolen from the people of Sheffield ?

This can't be right as it was taken almost 3 years ago now, not last year.
