Strix
that's very useful - thank you I hope if anybody sees anybody else taking salt from these bins in large quantities this year they report them. Those bins are for use in the local vicinity!
dieselbabe
This is very useful indeed thank you, i will pass this information on to my mum, on her street it's had a salt bin since i was a kid, but also it has never been fill up for many many years also. Now know who to contact i will let her know, she lives on a hill with a very tight corner at the top of the road that is hard to get up unless its salted by car or foot when snow or ice is down. I know her and many others have contacted the council loads of times to get it re-filled but never has.

DUFFEMS
Every year people complain about the gritters not doing their jobs but, Ringinglow Road gets gritted very well throughout the Winter months, I should know I travel 30,000 miles per year and I take this route over to Manchester, I see them out at all hours, well done gritting lads. Before anyone on here has a go at me, I'm not a lorry driver!

DUFFEMS
give us a wave next time iam on ringinglow then You (or some gritter does) come down Ringinglow Road about 9:00 p.m.as I'm either just coming home or going out to re-fuel for next morning, I usually give you a wide berth so that I don't get "peppered" so I'll give you a wave next time I see you, just don't give me a "two-fingered" one back!
