Leah-Lacie   10 #4 Posted January 16, 2012 I few years ago my ex was having the problem, I don't know which is more likely to be faulty, but yes, the cat one is more important I think, as the cat needs it to monitor oxygen levels, if I remember rightly x
 Share this content via...

surfinjim   10 #7 Posted January 16, 2012 Had a 2000 Seat leon which had a Lambda sensor failure. Would have thought they would be very similar engines.  Leon had 4 and recommendation was to have them all swapped at same time. (This was after 3 failed - 1 per month!)   Jim
 Share this content via...
Colt   10 #8 Posted January 16, 2012 Most likley 2, before cat and after cat. But you will find P0303 is a misfire on cylnder 3. Try a set of plugs first. Then try a coil pack.
 Share this content via...
Guest brownd95 Â Â #9 Posted January 16, 2012 just to add the mechanic said something along the lines of , he tested the lambda sensor on vagcom and the lambda sensor was un responsive
 Share this content via...
