*fallenangel   10 #1 Posted April 25, 2011 my son has a asus eee pc laptop, i wanted to put windows xp on it because we dont like windows 7, the laptop has no cd drive so i formatted a usb 4gb memory stick using a thing called petousb, then i copied all xp files from the installtion disk with sp2 slipstreamed using a thing called win to flash or win flash... something like that! i put the usb into the laptop and it looked as if it was installing xp, then it came up with an error message and now everytime i boot up the laptop it says operating system cannot be found and wont do anything else, please please help, my son is going to be back from his nans later on and he is going to kill me! how do i get windows back on this laptop, i have 2 windows xp disk and 1 vista, all genuine with keys ect!
