  1. Apparently, it is slipping. I don't know any more than that. I was just told I need a new one.
  2. My ford focus needs a new clutch. Its an old car so don't want to spend a fortune. Our garage let us down recently so I need somewhere cheap and honest. Can anyone recommend anywhere?
  3. I have heard 3 very loud bangs in the last 10 minutes. Would like to know what's happening because we live very close and it's a bit worrying.
  4. I stopped going because it so so incredibly dirty and the food was unhealthy and vile. I am not sure you are listening to your customers.
  5. I was just coming on here to ask the same thing. Trouble in Loxley?
  6. You should try collecting poo. As much as you can, doesnt matter whose. Spread it on top of the soil then leave tomatoes on the plant. They will ripen in no time! Lovely flavour too. ---------- Post added 12-09-2013 at 19:56 ---------- And make sure the slugs and snails don't get to them!
  7. Love Loxley. Brilliant school, quiet. Right on the edge of countryside with fantastic views. Shops in Hillsborough 10mins away.
  8. Could anyone recommend anyone who could come to our house and look at the possibilities of extending it. We just need an idea about what is possible and approximate costs of different options. We don't want to pay an architect at this stage because we just want ideas . Thanks
  9. Hi, been carrying my boy around for the last two years in a tricotti, which I love. I have started getting a sore back and need a back carrier. Can anyone recommend one. I want one that is easy to put on and that I can wear all day comfortably. I hope to carry him for another year so need one which will be good up to 3 years.
  10. I went in home bargains in Hillsborough, must have missed them. Too late now to get them on internet. Ah well. Will have to make my own or something
  11. Looks like all the big parks are getting them. Hillsborough, graves millhouses. Can we do anything about this. Graves park was left to the people of Sheffield wasn't it?
  12. Its just for a children's party picnic lunch. Can't believe they are so hard to find. Even tried lakeland but only tiny ones there
  13. No but it cost me 60 pounds to pay in the asda there when i got a parking charge notice
  14. Its not the price, it's the inconvenience and stupidity of it. We already pay for the parks in taxes. Just put the taxes up a penny instead of paying for a machine and all the tickets and someone to check that everyone has paid. It's also inconvenient and annoying if you have no change. I am so sick of paying to park everywhere. Surely that is what road tax and council tax is for. Its like going to macdonalds and paying for your burger then for your napkins then your ketchup then finding an extra 3 p fora straw. I was outraged when I saw the meter and will never park there again.
  15. Does anyone know. I thought there would be loads around but can't find a single one. Thanks
  16. Maybe you should open a restaurant, got some good ideas there
  17. It's fellicini flag ship for a new type of restaurant. They sent me an email mail to announce it.
  18. Thank you. Are you going to be near Loxley this week? If so I would really appreciate a quick visit
  19. Been to Chao baby at meadowhall and can't believe they can get away with those prices. The plates were tiny so had to go up to buffet several times. Strangely everyone in our party were full after a very small portion and felt full and bloated for the rest of the day. The food tasted ok but nothing special. Can get better on London road for half the price. Anyone else been there? Are they packing everything with msg?
  20. Portafino London road is excellent. Yankees is basic but good American and Mexican,
  21. Update They came to trim the floor today _ long story but had to let them try before I took legal action. They said they couldn't do it because the floor was too tight and too many boards had lifted. The want to come back next week (so we have to move all the toys and furniture back in then out again). They need to take up 2 thirds of the floor then put the same boards back down again. They have found 3 boxes of our boards in the warehouse- which shut down more than a year ago so if they break any they will replace them with these. I have written letters explaining that the floor needs replacing. The boards actually feel sharp on the edges when you walk across them because they are cupped. How can I make the owner see sense? I need advice any also would appreciate it if someone could come and look at it. If we do go to court we will need someone to do us a new floor but at the moment we just need someone to come and look. Thanks
  22. To devils advocate _ didn't see the signs, wasn't looking for them. It's not exactly a desirable place to park unless you live near or want to shop. I am not paying fine no chance I have just finished ignoring one from another car park with silly rules. I phoned asda - they would offer no help at all, just kept saying there was nothing they could do and I should talk to town and country parking - I explained there was no talking to them, they only respond with more threatening letters but asda was not interested.
  23. If they live in parsons cross and didn't have a driveway?
