no, that was just the last time. we first contacted the school almost a month ago, and it we'd contacted them about four or five times before we got tired of it.

well... when i read the comments i saw another student ask him if he was really excluded, because "u chat cause i saw u on wednesday afta sam ellis gt banged" then underneath... "no he gets 2 come in and do it work" you don't want to know what the first comment was referring to.

Hallam_FC, i'm not surprised at one bit of that. and that only took three months, and imagine some people have to stay five years. i may sound a little harsh when i talk about newfield hell school, but it's from my experience, the people in my family and my friends' experience. i may have only been there a year and a bit but i know many people who have been there and have had the same hell as me.

yes, i have had problems to do with the school - not just school itself - it was about three weeks ago. my parents phoned the school to talk about it, and they were told they would be "called back as soon as" and that was about three weeks ago, and a similar thing happened to my friend. i have two brothers and a few family friends who have attended this school who have all also seen the worst of it.

No, I'm not saying the majority of the kids are. But it's because of kids (the small minority of them) like those you described which disrupts the learning of others. It's not completely the students fault.

BBanzai - i'm not insulting your child - but some of (a lot of) the kids at that school need to be shot.... it's the teachers that don't give a stuff about the education of the kids. my friend was being bullied by three boys and we told a teacher. she said she'd "keep her eye on them" which she didn't. we told another teacher who laughed and said there was nothing he could do. there are the kids that do try. even though that is a TINY group of student. but i get nothing but problems at that school. every school has it's bad points but i think newfield just has 1 too many source: my own experience the POV of my friends and family who attend/attended that school.

newfield school is the greatest school [prison] in sheffield [NOT] and they have just moved into a building with clean walls [a great space for graffiti] and shiny tables [chewing gum sticks GREAT] and they have lots of computers [which are tyoys for the dumber kids and get broken easily] and trolleys of laptops [which usually are never charged giving students an excuse to do no work] in some classes the teachers are allowing kids to sit with their friends and socialise [MUCK ABOUT] and get on with [distract other peoples] learning. sounds great.

Okay, so you may have seen me post replies on Newfield school before, saying it's good etc. I WAS WRONG. people are right to say it is the worst school in sheffield. even in the new building there is still no difference. I can't wait to leave and will get out of that school at the first chance possible. It needs to be blown up with all them little rats still inside.

i don't know what i was saying in that previous post - there was something wrong with me. it is the WORST school in sheffield. don't go there, don't send your kids there. don't listen to what i just said, i think something was wrong with me or something. one of my friends was getting bullied by two boys, we told the teacher and he just laughed and said there was nothing he could do. i'm learning nothing and will get out of there at my first chance possible.
