  1. I have used several childminders and found them all to be flexible. Half a day to them should be fine if they have space and as long as you give them their minimum notice (mine have ranged from 2 to 4 weeks) to end the contract, it shouldn't matter how many months you may use them. Good luck x
  2. Hi, just wondered whether anyone could recomend a good parentcraft antenatal/postnatal type class in Sheffield? Looking more at advice on how to look after your newborn, bathing, feeding, sleeping, that sort of thing. Does anyone know of any type of class or whether they are actually useful? Thanks.
  3. Species of animal to be rehomed: Syrian Hamster (black with white band) Rehome or Sale? Re-home (Can supply cage at a sale price) Reason for Rehome: We don't have enough time for her. Sale Amount: Hamster free to a good home, if cage required (Rotastak Genus 200) £20 ono Location: S13 Has the Pet been in Rescue Previously? No Can the animal be picked up and put into a basket without the risk of scratching or biting? Yes Age & Sex: Female, approx 10 months Breed/ Mix: Syrian Colour/coat type: Black with white band Can the animal be groomed/handled without biting or scratching? Only managed to be able to pick her up to remove her from cage for cleaning. This is due to my inexperience and nervousness and being too worried to try any further taming. Any Current or Historical Health or Psychological Issues: No health issues, but is a very vocal hamster! Temperament: ? Any special knowledge needed: Would probably suit an owner with past experience and confidence. General Information you can share: A very beautiful hamster called Phoebe. My daughter adores her, but unfortunately I have been too nervous to handle her confidently. She deserves to be played with and some time spent on her.
  4. I'm after a mobile hairdresser to come to me one evening after 4pm as soon as possible please, to do my hair and my two daughters (ages 4 and . Please pm me if you are able to come to S13 (Stradbroke) area with possible times and cost. Thanks. Sorry if your details are already on here, but not sure how up to date the names and numbers are.
  5. Hi, I am desperately seeking a childminder who can pick up from Stradbroke Primary School and Nursery. Names and numbers would be appreciated.
  6. Since the retune I have lost Harry and Christa's look north and now only get Peter Levy in Hull! I hope it goes back to normal on the 24th
  7. I have been searching the forum, but so far have not found anything that might be suitable for my two girls. I have a 3 and 7 year old both wanting to do dancing lessons, but more along the disco/modern type, not necessarily for professional qualifications but for fun and exercise, but also to learn some proper moves! I live in S13 and transport is limited. I have seen reference to a Divas dance school in Woodhouse, but there doesn't seem to be a webpage or anything. Does anyone know anything about them? Thank you.
  8. Thank you for your responses. I will look into Honeys, as unforutnately I need to be able to get to it by bus sometimes and so the Goals Soccer Centre wouldn't be practical.
  9. Hi, I have looked at some of the cheerleading threads on here, but can't seem to find a good class for my daughter that is easy to get to from S13 Stradbroke/Richmond area as I don't always have access to a car. She is desparate to do some cheerleading, doesn't have to be a super professional group, a community run one would be great. Does anyone have any suggestions?
  10. Thanks for the replies. To be honest, I am in the position where as I privately rent, the mortgage would be equal or less to the rent I pay so I feel I can't lose (hopefully). I will keep my eye out and maybe see what happens in the new year.
  11. Hi Looking into the possibility of buying my first home, but have no idea about the market at present. If a house is on for, say, £80,000, what would be a "reasonable" first offer to make to the buyers? It seems some people are getting £10,00 to £15,000 less than it is on the market for, but is this just people trying to get my hopes up!!!!
