  1. Couldn't think of anywhere better than the Forum for a quick response.... Does anybody know if the Severnside estate(Severnside Walk, Rd, Gardens) etc are classed as Stradbroke or Woodhouse and any opinions on this estate please. Thanks One word answers accepted
  2. Thanks for the replies I definitely want a privet rather than a fence as the fence I had up has been damaged, kicked down and looks unsightly. I enjoy gardening(even though I don't know what I'm doing) and will keep the privet neat and tidy so that's not a problem, its just the planting I'm not sure about. Ive been told to get them online and to avoid B&Q etc so hearing that again, I will definitely take that advice. I'll take a look at the plant that's been recommended, thanks. More advice welcome:) Sarah
  3. Hi Its time to get stuck in to my garden and I haven't a clue what to do but the first thing I need is privacy. I would like a privet hedge but I don't know where to start. Any recommendations for where to buy from, whats the fastest growing and is now the best time to plant? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you
  4. Anybody know what's happening on the Flower estate? I heard a young lad had been attacked by a group of kids and that the BBC are up there as it's all kicking off.
  5. Thank you for your response, I must say I'm not an expert at all with fish but I received all my info from Pets At Home when I bought all my equipment and the goldfish. They recommended just one fish in a tank of that size. I will reconsider my advert now. Thanks angel22
  6. I have a Little Mermaid fish tank with gravel, pump and a few ornaments, fish food, Tap Safe and a little goldfish if anybody would like to give it a new home? It was bought for my daughter but as she has no interest in it I would like it to go to somebody who would appreciate it. It's a lovely little tank and I think it holds approx 18/20 litres. I can deliver locally in Sheffield or collection welcome from S5 7LN
  7. Absolutely fantastic! I spend just under £40 a week in bus fares for my children getting to school and back so this is going to be a great saving for me...any many others.

  11. I'e been around the area 5 or 6 times over the last week and it's so quiet. I've been at different times of the day and each time I've not seen anything out of the ordinary.
  12. Thankyou for your replies. I did wonder if it's one of the better areas in S5. I'll check out that police website too.
  13. Not sure which section to post this but if anyone lives in or has lived in Longley I would appreciate any feedback on the area. Thankyou
  14. Hi Just wondering if anybody has had any issues with their health due to rising damp or just possibly due to rising damp as I'm told it can't be proven? Some say it's a myth and some say it can affect your health. Thanks
  15. I had my baby at Jessops 8 months ago. My other two children were born at the Northern General so it was the first time at Jessops for me and I also heard stories which put me off. I think you need to remember people are different who have had different experiences and have dealt with different staff so someone may tell you a horror story yet the next person may tell you they were fabulous. I heard many different stories and I think the big problem you will have is spending the next months worrying yourself and getting in a state about it. You do what you feel is right for your baby and if Jessops provide the best care if complications arise then maybe that's the best option. I arrived at Jessops in labour at 3.50pm and had her at 4.15pm so I can't say either way about my experience as it wasn't much of one only being 25 minutes long. Good luck with whatever you decide and I hope your little bundle of joy arrives safely.
  16. Yes,thought i might struggle just for one night.Have just had a look at B&B's.Worth a try though.Looks like i may end up in the tent:D
  17. This is exactly my point............i nedd say no more!
  18. I consider myself normal.......dress normal and act normal. Why anyone needs to shop in heels with bits hanging out everywhere and just wanting to attract attention is beyond me.Join a dating agency if you're desperate. It's called a "shopping mall",not a catwalk!Do you think these people walk around town in the same attire? There is a big difference in looking normal and looking after yourself and putting on the most ridiculous clothes and make up to go to poundland!
  19. I agree 100%!!!I thought it was just me who was imagining this.I now actually joke with my husband when we go to meadowhell and always ask if he wants me to put my mini skirt and heels on and tell him he should put his designer gear on.It's as if people have got to impress their fellow shoppers or look like they've got money cos they're in there. It's like watching a fashion show.Mutton dressed as lamb and all that!!!!!!Has anyone also noticed how people buy the smallest thing but have the biggest paper bag for it.It's just showing off if you ask me and it's usually all on the credit card, buy now pay later kinda thing and it's to filfull what they're lacking in their up to their eyeballs in debt lifestyles.GET A GRIP!!!!
  20. I have probably posted this in the wrong section but anyway........ I have let myself in for a weekend somewhere at the coast and as it's a last minute thing have decided to go in a tent but the more i think about it the more i'm dreading it!All i'm wanting is a somewhere for saturday night.Rang a few sites but seems a bit expensive just for the night and thought private may be cheaper? If anyone has that night available and is willing to let for the night please pm me.I am in my thirties and so is my partner and we are a respectable couple just wanting a night away:)
