Just finished this book by Dorothy Koomson would recommend it to us ladies who love a girlie read. Also, would recommend Getting Rid of Matthew which is to be featured on Rich and Judy

Been happily married for 23 years and if my husband was unfaithful I think I would probably try to carry on cos I love him so much but the trust would go and I think the anger would eat me up and change me into someone I wouldn't want to be - but even though I know that it would be hard to end my marriage

I'm about to renew my kitchen thinking of using Purdey's at bottom of Furnace Lane, Woodhouse - anyone used them and would you recommend?

I've been using Balfour carpets on Staniforth Road for past 13 years - always had excellent service and usually best pricewise. Never had any problems re fitting apart from one occasion when after a phone call they quickly returned to remedy the problem.

Our local is ace now smoking ban has come in. Landlady has reupholstered seating and repainted, pub feels nice and clean now. Went down to our usual quiz night yesterday and it was a little quieter but quite a few people are away on fishing trip. On talking to landlady apparently even smokers who frequent the pub have commented on how much better it is now that its non smoking. It was ace to go home last night and not feel smoky and dirty.

Has anyone had one fitted. If so would you recommend and how much would I expect to pay?

Sue Ross is supposed to be very good. I'm with Office Angels at the moment and they seem ok.

What a stupid thing to say about kids. I have to kids and to say they want to go to the dogs is digusting.
This this is an awful response Sara. I used to go when I was a kid and we had a good time.

We went to Protaras, Cyprus this year - excellent. Beaches are beautiful, people are a lot friendlier than the Spanish - don't think the Spanish mean to be abrupt but that's how they come across. Stayed at Pernera beach hotel - ace. Would recommend it.

No probs with paypal. If you're paying by another method, which as a seller I use to avoid paypal fees incurring extra cost to buyer, make sure you look at sellers rating score.

You're a better person that me Katas. Sorry but if they've resold item you bought then there's no excuses for them. Just think if it was the other way round would they be as accommodating as you?
-
Katas, don't believe that for one minute. Do what others are saying and get the police onto it. They've nicked your money and it may not be the first time. If you do get cops in, update your feedback - you can add notes at a later date to let people know. Good luck

Its not a legal requirement but if you book with a tour operator they will generally ask for insurance details. Incidentally E111 will over give you cover in a state system hospital - not private. Not worth taking the risk of not buying it.
Even if you book through a tour operator you don't have to buy their insurance - try Primary Direct, I've been using them for several years and found them to be the cheapest around with excellent cover.

I buy and sell on Ebay. Would recommend checking their ratings before you buy. Try emailing them and saying if you don't get money back you will put negative feedback on. If you get money back put negative feedback on anyway to warn other trusting people off trading with them. Hope this helps.

Try looking on ebay in travel section you might find a bargain there

If the house had been damaged by fire , would the ownwer expect the government to replace the contents and have the house repaired?:

Thanks for replying. Will be going this week to see it.

Bunnykins, sorry but I don't feel at all sorry for people who've not got insurance. Bet they can afford their fags, betting shop, Sky. Why should taxpayers have to subsidise their stupidity. As far as I'm concerned the ones who have insurance should be rewarded as a sign to others that they need to be responsible for their own homes/possessions and not expect some one else to give them charity! Sorry it sounds harsh but am sick of having to pay out for other people.
-
Any one seen it yet and if so is it any good?

do to recent events, what do you think of home insurance,is it worth the paper its written on?
what happens like a lot of people when you need to claim you find out your not even covered,
its a thing you pay year in year out,and when you need to claim how sure are you its going to pay out?
do you think we would be better off saving the premium in a bank than handing it over to insurance companys?
Sorry think this is a bit of a stupid question really. Course its worth insuring your property - unless you think that putting £150 in bank each year is really going to pay for the contents of your house should you be unfortunate enough to have your possessions destroyed/stolen

Sue Ross Recruitment is great for office/admin work. It's only a small agency but the staff are lovely and very professional.
They seem to have great contacts, too. I moved to Sheffield at Christmas time and told them I wanted work from Jan 5 onwards. On Jan 6 I started in my first job for them and am still here now. They check in every now and then to see how I'm getting on and whenever you ring in with any questions they're only too happy to help.
Having spoken to someone else who uses them, she had a 6 month break between two permanent jobs and Sue Ross kept her in work for literally the whole 6 months.
Also, in reference to another post, you don't lose out on holiday pay because they tack it onto your hourly rate (although, if you're anything like me, that doesn't necessarily mean you put it aside for a holiday, lol).
I'm temping through Office Angels at the moment in the NHS being paid £7.00 p/h for secretarial work, just wondering how much other agencies pay for this kind of job

The Lebanese is ace, also can't remember the name but the Italian where the Flying Pizza used to be is very good.

I've enjoyed the two programmes in this series. Not sure that I could have handed over arrangements for my wedding as I'd be too worried about what choices had been made but a nice programme to chill out to
