It will probably help you feel better, but as far as rights you are out of luck. Unfortunately tvs are not as repairable as they used to be, cos the parts are usually nearly as much as a new tele...It should have lasted longer though. Write to MR WALMART and say ASDA goods are now inferior since you Americans got involved...Yanks spoil everything... sorry I can't be of more help

As Sheffielders we use the expression 'any road', instead of anyway. My grandma always said the full expression 'any road up'. Does anyone know the origin of this saying, and any other Sheffield expressions

No disrespect teafan but Sheffield is the 4th biggest city in the UK , the nightlife is fantastic, and as for eating out we have some fantastic restaurants...and we don't have smog....And as for the countryside some of the best in the U.K. I would say it has far more going for it than Londinium. And of course there are no finer folk than the good people of Sheffield

Wherever you go up and down the nation you can hear the dulcit tones of people complaining about kids of today, and still the do gooders keep giving them more and more rights...you can't possibly threaten a child with the slipper or cane....and as a result this is what it is coming to. Its time we all staged a revolt against these people and say enough is enough and if he or she steps out of line they will get a damn good hiding...never hurt me....put the little bar stewards back in their place..lock them in a room for a month and maybe once in a while give them a bit of warm rancid water......Then they may think twice A man who has had enough
