I'm looking at UK sellers, but I know all the batteries are going to be imported anyway, prices seem to be between £15 to £25, with some claiming to be genuine Dell at around £50, I doubt they are genuine!
-
I need a new battery for my Dell Inspiron 1545, has anyone had any experience with batteries bought off eBay?
-
Sync it and as said take it to the Apple store, they'll swap it for you if there's a fault, take the new one home and restore from the last back up of the old one.
-
Let the cats finish it off, a pigeon fancier won't be interested in it unless its a racing pigeon, if it's a wild bird they'll just neck it or show it the back of a spade.

I wear slippers at home, when I'm at my girl friends I wear slippers too, either hers or mine, whichever I find first.
My kids have got two Guinea Pigs, I've told them when they die they would make a nice pair of slippers, the Guinea Pigs, not the kids of course.

What? He stands talking for a whole hour? Does this happen every day? A full hour in every working day, 365 days a year? Has he got nothing better to do? Does he know that people in S13 are desperately waiting for their post.
To get post delivered after 3pm is truly disgusting!
Sometimes he's in a rush and only chats for about 45 minutes, other times he has a chat but then delivers a few letters and goes back for another chat.
-
I know of a road in S13 that doesn't get it's post delivered until well after 3pm because the postie stands talking for an hour instead of getting on with his job.
Complaints have been made to and ignored by Royal Mail.

An Orange help line will not help you, they will just tell you all the good things you want to hear to sell you their product.
Search for Orange broadband reviews and see what other users have to say about them.
-
Stay away from Orange! I got stuck with them when they bought Wannadoo a few years ago. Terrible customer service, they haven't got a clue, they just read a script and when than doesn't solve the proble they just say they'll do a line check and call back tomorrow.
AOL are just as bad.
I've been with O2 for the last 4 or 5 years, cannot fault them, I don't know what their customer service is like because I've never had to use it!
I'm having to leave O2 due to a house move, the new property needs reconnecting by BT, £130, unless you sign up with them for calls and broadband then it's free reconnection.

It will be in the Star next month.

My son was christened at St James last year, we used the function room at The Princess Royal at Woodhouse Mill. Can't remember how much it was because his cousin was christened at the same time so we went halves with everything. The pub did the catering, the room is ok, service at the bar was good.
There's also a building at the side of the church, not sure who owns this but I've taken my kids to birthday parties there.

Carrying bulbs and hi viz vests make perfect sense to me.
How often do you see cars with a bulb blown? Police stop you, you change the bulb, everyone's happy.
You break down on the M1 & set off walking to the nearest emergency phone, it's dark & raining and your wearing dark clothing, no one can see you! Put the hi viz on & your much more visible.

Have a look at Golden Sands Holiday Park, it's in Dawlish Warren, Devon.
Had some good holidays there, there's an indoor & outdoor pool, very good family bar with entertainment every night.

If you do take it to Kwik Fit, be prepared for the other work they will find, tyres, brakes, shocks and exhaust!
-
So its kwik fit fault your car air con is not working? they didnt charge you anything? the machine they use will suck all gas out, pressure test then refill.
if there is a leak in the system it will not recharge
I didnt say it was Kwik Fits fault.
There was no leak, they emptied it, pressure tested but didn't refill it, even the manager said there was no gas in when I went back 10 minutes later.
All systems lose pressure over time, so much percent a year, there's a pressure switch in the system which will open once it falls below a certain pressure. Once the pressure has fallen the compressor won't switch on, this is to stop it damaging its self.

Could be an earth strap problem?
-
I bought a can of gas and did mine myself, it's worked fine for the last 4 years, topped it up once with what was left in the can.
-
Don't use Kwik Fit, if it's right first time there's no need to give you your money back.
Had mine done there, an hour wasted, wasn't working when I went in and didn't work when they'd finished.

I got a Karrimor day sack from Sports Direct, can't fault it. Used it on weekends away, days out and checked baggage on flights.
For weekends away I get kids clothes and my clothes in it plus a playstation 3 and all the bits for that, fits in the overhead luggage rack on the train or down by my feet.

I got rid of about 20 recently, they were either people who weren't very active on there or people who I was fed up of hearing about. I don't like status's going on about people's illnesses and personal problems.
I got fed up of one friend going on about not sleeping, her depression, her visits to the hospital or doctor, she's off my list. Got another one on the verge of being deleted, she's a "oh well, better get the ironing done" or "chicken and chips for tea hmmmmm" kind of person.

Try eBay, I got a Nissan Workshop manual DVD for my Primera, its been very useful.
-
Are Nissan still using Renault electrics in their cars? I fancy Qashai next, on my second Primera just now, but everything that's gone wrong on it says Renault on it some where!

I play my iPhone through a Belkin Tunecast, track title comes displays like RDS info on the cars info screen, uses cigarette lighter socket for power, there's an app which uses my location to find the best FM frequency to tune to.
Also plays iPhone satnav and calls through the car speakers.

Thanks for that, that's one of the sellers I've looked at.
