  1. it has got a mixture of wide open space to roam in and interesting facts about wildlife, the earth etc indoor and 2 playgrounds, one for younger and one for older children, mine are 6 and 12 but when they were 3 and 9 both loved the 'older' playground, it's also got a train that goes round and they have a dome with different shows -mostly involving exotic animals which are very good. Rubbish if the weather is crap though!
  2. I used to volunteer for Marie Curie, they had a whole attic full of em and said go and take your pick!
  3. Yes it is really for older children, I would say 5+, although there are a lot of things to look at and touch. There is an awesome cine presentation, but I would not take my now 6 year old to see it because she would be too scared. I would prefer conkers at leicester, or Eureka in Huddersfield - have you been to those?
  4. i am not prepared to go into details because it was all so traumatic I cannot even talk about it, needless to say please go through a private agency I beg you!
  5. less bigots and racists who support the BNP and get rid of Nick Clegg!
  6. Yes I'm not saying don't do it at all!!! Just don't touch SSS pleaaaaase
  7. Well I can't afford petrol any more, so they better have not gone up too much!! What are they now??
  8. I would pm you but I don't have enough posts on the forum apparently. I am not prepared to go into everything we went through on here, but please go with a private agency, they provide much better support, financial assistance etc
  9. I completely agree, and I think I am 'qualified' to comment. I completed my 'A' Levels in 1991 - and went to University in 2007. It appears to me that the B and C grades I received back in the day are a lot easier to obtain by far. You should see the standard of some of the work that fellow students were getting a 2:1 for! In relation to the standard of teaching, I practically taught myself. I received a First Class Degree but I am no genius, I have an IQ of about 100. There is no way I would pay £9,000 a year to watch lecturers reading of the slides I could read at home, and to get 8 hours tutor support PER YEAR max!
