  1. Malwarebytes is excellent. I've had an error finding a .dll file each time I get to Windows but after running this it has stopped. In total it found 20 trojan's on my computer. Good piece of freeware.
  2. Thanks a lot! I do have a spare power supply but not the confidence to fit it. I might ask someone I know who does know Thanks again.
  3. Hey I was wondering if someone had any advice. My PC shuts down during start up and I'm still trying to find out why. The weird thing is it shuts down the first time you switch one but works the second or third time. I cleaned the whole inside out and cleaned the fans so it isn't overheating. I've run Malwarebytes, Avast and Spybot and clean everything as much as I can and it still does it. Could it be something else, like a fault with my power supply? I've had it around 2.5 years.
  4. I think I might explode.. It's all good though, I picked a driver's one up from a scrappy in Rotherham for £15 and fitted it ok. Apparently you need to have at least two mirrors on your car, one of which must be the drivers side so I left the left one as a stump.
  5. It's a tough one as there are very few funding opportunities for Postgraduate courses. The majority of students are either self funded via savings or career developments loans. Professional students tend to be funded by their companies.
  6. I live around the corner from the heavygate pub in Walkley and at about 12:30am on Wednesday night after the England game, a load of drunken idiots wripped off both of my wing mirrors and a number of other cars further down Matlock Road. I mean seriously, what possible enjoyment can these morons get out of doing this?
  7. I think it's in Wadsley Bridge last time I checked. The Orange Broadband I'm on however does say "up to 8MB Broadband" so not sure if it's the line or what
  8. I currently live in Walkley (1 door away from being Crookes) have Orange Broadband. Unfortunately I can't get over 1MB download speed and have looked at all providers and can't seem to get any faster. Is it possible I just live in an unlucky area?
  9. Renault Clio Panache R Reg (1997/8) My car battery has recently died (I think) and so I bought a new one from Halfords. The battery fits ok in the tray but the cables do not fit the terminals on the battery. The positive cable splits into two with a piece of metal on the end with holes in it which fits onto a screw terminal on the old battery. This however doesn't fit on to the new battery one. The negetive cable is a screw cap and is too big to put onto the negetive terminal of the new battery. I checked Halfords and saw that you can buy brass connectors so you can connect to the new battery but does anyone know how to fit them onto the cables? Would I need to take it to a mechanic? I have a very limited budget and so would rather try it myself if possible! Thanks
  10. ...around Walkley or Crookes? I know there is one on the corner of Howard Street (Soccomondos or something?) is it ok? I can't find the number anywhere
  11. Hi my avast! anti-virus software has detected trojans in a few .dll files and don't know how to clean them. Do anyone have any ideas? I keep getting some stupid pop up telling me to click on a window to get some adult blocking software.
  12. apparently it's hit Oxford too and Manchester. Wonder where the epicentre is
  13. I can't stand it when blokes do that. There's no need. Even when they walk round town there's no need. They're just posers. And it's always the chav's / scallies that do it for some reason. I wouldn't do it here...maybe on holiday but not round Sheff.
  14. im from Kiveton...and have seen the "ghost" on pacman lane. Although it does look good, it is simply the car headlights onthe road and mist there. The road goes down then up quite sharpish and so has this affect. We proved it by doing it a few times. Still...it does look quite good. Just looks like a figure running across the road in front of the car
