  7. Good result against a solid world class team, showing strenghth in depth using all squad players, and getting the win by what sounds like the dodgey-ist referee decision eva, according to my mate who went along with the others on the half full bus. It's looking good this season boyz !!!!!!!!!!!
  8. The futures a lot brighter in a league above you pal
  9. Yes im a season ticket wednesday fan, this dosnt stop me watching any other games and teams playing on tv. I will also vent my decision on wether or not i enjoyed the game, this blade game was rubbish the blades were rubbish pompy were worse so the game was a non event and i for one being a football fan, wouldnt pay hard earned money on that T.A.T. Get me
  10. watching that dross on sky was shocking talk about red and white blinkers that football wont get the blades up this season and i wouldnt pay good money to whatch that every week, be honest blades its poor no structure hoof ball at its very best
  11. Think about taking him on the Kop its usually quiet on there not a lot to get excited about these days (Tongue in Cheek LOL) Being an owl (wink) Enjoy your game fella
  12. A hard core Wednesday fan here and i totaly agree with the poster there is no room in football or at hillsborough for NUMPTYS like the coin throwers, the sooner they are caught on camera and banned from hillsborough and all other grounds the better. We are better than this minoroty of CHAVY so called fans, all our clubs have em, we dont need em. GOOD RIDDENCE Up the OWLS
  13. Alan Leesley was there in the 90's when i was running the teams i had there under 16's playing on the greaves park pitches, then the young one's we used to have our meetings at a little pub down a road on the right had some good nights in there can't remember the name now it's so long ago. Is there or was there such a pub as the ridgeway arms rings a bell. LOL (Those were the days) I only packed in being a manager 2 years ago, the time i have spent doing junior footy its flown by. now my 15 year old is a ref doing junior teams so im still running him around the fishing i have missed on sundays oh dear. LOL
  14. Although i think you are pushing for a worthy cause because money is tight at the moment, but with say the current 16 players registered. That would mean maybe 32 parents and their family members connected to the team directly. I trust that some of these parents will be working and some not, some will be self employed and work for other companies that would be willing to help you out if only asked. After 38 years of running teams at junior levels i have ALWAYS found sponsorship from within my teams parents or their friends. Junior football i have found is the easiest organization to get sponsors for people will help out kids. Other outlets for money are of course supermarkets who are always willing to allow teams to fill the bags with shopping on the tills we have earned between £300 to £1300 a time especially at meadowhall, (Marks n Sparks) wink wink, and any other retail outlets in there. I wish you the best of luck as i was once a manager at Charnock and they are a great little club i have good memories from there. Sincearly Keezee
  15. Gibson out for 5 weeks. Wonder if they have recall clause for Barkley?
