Bedding plants dug up by something

I planted some winter pansies in patio pots this weekend and today am baffled to find three of the plants from different pots dug up and thrown out on to the patio. Can anyone shed any light on what creature might be doing this?

Its probably a squirrel, they do it to mine too.

Birds do that as well

Its probably a squirrel, they do it to mine too.

Squirrels love burying food in planters, once they've burried it they come back to check on their stashes regularly too.

Make sure their is plenty of free standing food for them and it's usually fine.

We had one that gave up on the planters and just knocked on the kitchen window when he wanted more nuts, cheeky, fat, beggar.

It's not one of Alcoblogs squirrels that' s escaped is it?

It'll be Lithuanians-they eat them,you know.

that would be rizrat ,he's put weight on of late ,may be a sign of a bad winter
