Ms Macbeth Posted January 29, 2007 Share Posted January 29, 2007 Lived there for about 13 years - in Bramley. I liked it in the early 90s, the town centre was reasonable, but is now shut! Our bus services kept disappearing, and the level of the protests against running the tram to Hellaby convinced me that most people who live there don't want any changes. One memory is when my kids, who'd come home one Christmas from uni/working away, went into one of the pubs in the village. They were asked by some of the young locals why they didn't live at home - as in 'why would you want to leave Bramley/Rotherham?' Nuff said.
