Men in shorts

Recommended Posts

How many grown men wear shorts this hot weather? is it nice to see men who are over a certain age showing their legs, students , Fathers, Grandfathers even men as old as 80s walking round town with varicose veins and bandy legs.

Is it politically correct? did we aught to have a local by-law prohibiting men showing their legs who are over the hill? or would that be an infringement of their human rights?

Are not all men entitled to keep cool when the sun shines?and would you make fun of one who decides to and will put two fingers at anyone who laughs at them.

Surely one does not need to have perfect legs to show them in public and they are not exhibitionists, they are just trying to be comfortable in the sunshine and fresh air.

We should start a campaign for the right to wear shorts in public at any time, just like the naturists are calling for the right to go naked in public

places, as I am led to understand they can in the public parks in Germany.

I agree with Steel blade.... and in addition to his Fashion advice, may I offer my own??

When purchasing shorts or digging them out of your wardrobe, would you kindly conduct a cleavage test??

Nothing more horrible than walking along and seeing 4 inch of hairy bum cleavage.

Everyone should wear whatever they want.

The only thing I will say on the matter is if you are a man who is going to wear shorts, invest in some trainer socks, shorts with socks pulled up is not attractive!

Agreed. I'd never wear NO sock, cos I like my feet not to smell. I would never wear big sock. Trainer socks are a must! If I only had big socks, I'd roll them over to make them the size of trainer socks!

Sandals and socks are also a strict NO NO! The only time I wear no socks is if I wear sandals!

Haha so true! My Mum and I always laugh at the fashion disasters that do this! It looks so daft!

I'm not too bothered about shorts, as long as you're not showing off bandy legs, as Halevan put it hehe

One thing I don't like is men who take it upon themselves to walk around bare chested in the sun. They can do that on their gardens, on the beach at the coast, anywhere but not on the high street in town, etc! That really annoys me!

Good point. Some sites should remain covered in the general public! Eeeewwwww

But while we are on the the subject there are some women who are 'just as large as beer bellied men' that shouldn't wear certain garments in general public. i won't go any further on that, but I'm sure you know where I'm coming from!
