They will be stored in the interchange as far as I know. There's no way they can fit all four plus any diesel buses needed for other Sheffield routes in the Petre street yard.

I assume the diesels will go back to Holmfirth.

I'll believe it when I see it. There would be a few drivers that wouldn't be happy signing on for the Sheffield depot only to be told now they have to go to honley to start/finish. Until I'm either told otherwise or read otherwise I'll be assuming they wont be stored at the Sheffield yard.

The diesel vans were only until the electric buses were ready IIRC. So those drivers will now be using the electrics.

I know but there's been no mention of having to take buses from honley once these new electrics start to accommodate having them in the Sheffield yard. I'd be surprised if the plan when they leased the yard was to use it primarily for the electric buses.

Until I hear something concrete I'll be taking it as they'll be anywhere but in the Sheffield yard.

Not all the drivers would be using the electric buses, there is the 760/762 school buses, the 181 and 201 so any driver doing those would need a diesel bus, that's why I'd be surprised but who knows.🤔
