There is actually a large demand for Vegan food in the Broomhill & Sharrow area, so I can't see raw fish being popular.   Also a large Chinese/Asian population in and around the University who will love Sushi. I've lived in the South West all of my life and never noticed a large Chinese population around Broomhill. There is a large one around West Bar/Edward Street I believe. Anna B   1,417 #27 Posted March 14 Mainly University students. Loads of them. See them up and down round the University in large numbers. Some Chinese supermarkets in the area for them too.  Sheffield University is a very popular destination for Chinese young people. It has a good reputation.
 Share this content via...

I don’t think there are a lot of Chinese in Broomhall.  It’s quite a mixed area though.
 Share this content via...
Irene Swaine   1,072 #32 Posted March 18 The Grind Cafe round the corner seems to be doing quite well. I must admit it would feel strange eating in an old bank.
 Share this content via...
