Recommended Posts

Must be putting the hours in as there was a lad outside bp at 11 last night - suprised that bp puts up with it as could be intimidating for some just trying to pay for fuel.

There are loads in town. One in particular I know for sure is one, he's called Barry, he's over 50, from Merseyside orginally, black and often approaches people asking for money. He actually lives in accomodation in Burncross and is a known gambler. My dad knows him, so I know this for a fact. There also used to be a drug addict who used to go around town saying he needed the train fare to get back to Bolton. He could become very abusive when people refused to give him money, he was a right nasty piece of work. I've not seen him for around 5 years, he is probably dead now as he was on strong drugs and I'm not ashamed to say, I'm relieved as the city centre feels safer without him around.

Wow!

That's just vile.

Shame on you for that.

If no-one ever donated their hard earned cash to this lowlife they'd be wasting their time. I've never given a penny piece to a beggar since being approached at Kings Cross in London 30/40 years ago asking for the price of a cup of tea. I went to the appropriate outlet, bought the chap a cup of tea but on presenting it to him he flung the full cup at me screaming "I don't want your f*cking tea I want your f*cking money"

Oxygen wasting pondlife. No sympathy whatsoever.
