Lost Family Pat Smyth

I am Looking for a Pat Smyth originally from Castleshane, Monaghan Ireland.  Son of Eugene and Margaret Smyth.  I am daughter of his sister Helen.  I would appreciate any information received.  Pat went to work in England many years ago and the family lost contact.  My mother has been searching for him for as long as I can remember.   Pat did send home a christmas card every year.  Unfortunately there was no return address.  It was mostly stamped from sheffield, but occasionally from yorkshire.

How long ago was that?

 

In the old days, the sub post office name would appear above ‘Sheffield’ on the post mark. This may give you a clue as to which area of Sheffield the cards were sent from.

I've just looked on the electoral roll and there are hundreds - one in Sheffield - I think more information is needed.  He is Patrick J Smyth and age between 50-60?
