PopT
My Lenovo Yoga 3 laptop has started to click when starting up. When it is fully started the clicking stops. I do have a lot of family histor on this laptop & I do not want to lose it. The last time I took a laptop in for repair they wiped it clean although I had asked them not to. Can anyone tell me what the clicking proplem is. Is there anything I can do about it,can anyone advice me please.
Ghozer
It could be a number of things, one being the Hard Drive is faulty or dying, so I would get a USB memory stick, and start backing up all the things you want to keep, as if the Hard Drive dies, and you don't have a copy, you could loose everything, or end up paying a fortune to recover the data.... RollingJ
I agree with Ghozer - and I would do that backing up sooner rather than later. On a general note, I'm amazed at the number of people who have no back-ups of irreplaceable data - external HD's are cheap in comparison to what you lose.
