JFKvsNixon   11 #13 Posted May 9, 2016 How about President Trump's USA.  You'll be a foreigner over there. Trump doesn't like foreigners, especially ones that have a history of burning down the White House.
 Share this content via...
poppet2 Â Â 13 #14 Posted May 9, 2016 They won't let you in! Â Huh, Trump was asked, how would he know who was a Muslim? A. We'll ask them! Â How's that for security?
 Share this content via...
Nagel   10 #15 Posted May 9, 2016 That's probably the purpose of these adverts.  You're wrong. The adverts are an anti-terrorism initiative by the government to promote the soft side of Islam. Probably ill thought out like the Prevent campaign which appears to have the opposite effect and alienate a lot of muslims.
 Share this content via...
dangerousedd   10 #16 Posted May 10, 2016 I thought it was for some kind of Islamic charity.
 Share this content via...

mafya   250 #18 Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) Is this integration or colonisation? Why can't any form of religious advertising remain in a place of worship?  http://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/london-buses-to-carry-praise-allah-adverts-during-ramadan-a3243026.html  It is a charity advert aimed at Muslims during the month of Ramadan to donate money to help victims of the civil war in Syria. It is not asking anyone/forcing anyone to convert to Islam or start wearing a burka so stop getting your knickers in a twist. We have Christian Aid/Save the children adverts on buses so why not this one? Let's not beat about the bush, the problem really is that it is something to do with those pesky Muslims and it gets up some people's noses... I will be donating now that I have seen it so the advert is doing its job.....  ---------- Post added 10-05-2016 at 03:40 ----------  I thought it was for some kind of Islamic charity.  It is.....  ---------- Post added 10-05-2016 at 03:42 ----------  I wonder how many Muslim countries would allow Christians to spread the Christian word like this?  That's probably the purpose of these adverts.  You're wrong. Cyclone   10 #21 Posted May 10, 2016 I wonder how many Muslim countries would allow Christians to spread the Christian word like this?  We're not a Christian country, so it's not a valid comparison.  ---------- Post added 10-05-2016 at 07:20 ----------  That's probably the purpose of these adverts.  That doesn't even make sense. Gamston   10 #22 Posted May 10, 2016 We're not a Christian country, so it's not a valid comparison.  An high court judge ruled last year that Britain is a Christian country.  In any case this bus advertising is load a fuss about nothing. I have never been influenced by anything advertised on a bus.
 Share this content via...
