I would hope that HMRC aren't so lax as to not know about that anyway, or we really are up the proverbial creek.  Ah but if you fail to include on your tax form your pensions and your savings that are taxed at source, it is very likely that the taxman who taxed them at source will forget that you are a high rate tax payer.
