Sheffield Peregrine Falcons 2016

Recommended Posts

An unusual sight tonight in the Notts. nest, both parents are sleeping together, it looks like the male on the eggs while the female is alongside, both sound asleep, dedication.

Surely they are due to hatch anytime now. I keep looking to check but shes always sat on them so not sure if any have yet

Looks like a chick has hatched in Nottingham

Camera 1 is zoomed in very close and you can see a broken egg shell

Camera 3 you can see an extra heat patch

Sheffield won't be long

I've just seen the chick - little bundle of fluff in Nottingham

There are definitely 2 chicks. I don't know what's happening now but, the male is very vocal and the female seems to be trying to make small squeaks, whether this is to the chicks or not I don't know.

Something is spooking the parents. Dad standing on guard squawking away and looking around non-stop and Mum on the nest is constantly looking around

Hope they are ok
