Chazndave
I have a oak coloured wood fireplace in my house that is shiny. So i assume varnished. Its a cheap one (the kind bloors install in new built houses). Vaneered I assume. How hard would it be to make it white? Thanks Edited August 2, 2015 by Chazndave
Gamston
Very easy . You need to lightly sand the wood work down . One coat of white primer for wood and then one coat of the finish coat of white . You need to decide if you want a matt white or a 'shiny' white for your finish coat . You could apply the paint with a mini roller for a lovely finish ( mini rollers are available in POUNDLAND) Edited August 2, 2015 by Gamston
Timeh
Easy with the application of some paint. In liquid form or a spray should be just the job.
carosio
Eggshell is a nice finish, but you might need 2 coats of undercoat- no background hues should be visible before the top coat goes on.
