Where is the best place for fish and chips in Scarborough?

Recommended Posts

Going to Scarborough on Thursday this week and was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for the best or nicest fish and chips there before we trawl the various options ourselves on the day?????

Winking Willys, on the front opposite the harbour. Was there recently, always plenty of customers inside.

Nice fish 'n chips, we always go there. Enjoy your weekend.

Ooh thanks, Outdoors. Have googled and found one called Whackers lol some have really funny names, but it's always nice to try and get some recommendations for places. Going there to celebrate 10th wedding Anniversary :-)

For me Scarborough is much nicer than Blackpool there's lovely places to visit and lovely countryside on the doorstep

Got to agree with you there bladefellow. Some nice coastal walks & Robin Hoods Bay just

up the road.

Personally both hubby and I LOVE Scarborough, we also like Whitby and Filey but Scarborough is our favourite. Never really fancied Blackpool always sounded far too commercialised for us. :)

The new little one opposite the Leeds Chippy is very nice. Always lovely white fresh fish cooked while you wait and very nice and clean and nice chips. You can also eat inside. A european couple run it.

The one opposite Peasholm Park is also usually very good but be prepared to stand in very long queues for it!
