Thanks Retep and Library. yes the two sites you both mentioned are ok, but trying to find a map of Sheffield (circa mid fifties for eg) seems difficult, or is it me? If there is some sort of copyright problem with the Ordnance Survey Maps people or whoever publishes them, then i wonder why they were on there in the first place!
