ll49
Where can I take my dogs old beds so that they can be put to good use? Dog rescues will happily take them. I collect for Rotherham dog rescue so I know they'll take them. They are in brinsworth.
MrSpoon
Sheffield Pound in Spring Street have made an urgent appeal for dog bedding, old blankets, duvets etc as the concrete floors are very cold for the poor dogs, I'm sure they would be grateful. I was just going to post exactly the same thing. My auntie and mum knit dog coats for the rescue and strays so I'm going to take a load of coats down to the pound too. Anything to help the poor little mites :-(
Moonbird
I would check with the pound before you start taking stuff just to be sure that they can fit it in their storage!
MrSpoon
I've taken some blankets and duvets down this afternoon (after calling first) and they were very happy to have them. Their preference is for washable bedding naturally but were grateful for the duvets too. Took some chocs too, hats off to anyone who can do such a hard job
