Baggers1987 10 #1 Posted January 24, 2014 Please be aware (Taken from the Derbyshire Times) Emergency services are continuing their search for a man who has gone missing from a nursing home. Kevin Herbert, known locally as Charlie, left Brookview Nursing Home, in Holmley Lane, Dronfield, at about 9.50pm on Wednesday and was reported missing a short time later. Derbyshire police and mountain rescue teams from across Derbyshire have been searching woodland since he went missing. A spokesman for Derbyshire police said: “Mr Herbert left on foot. Due to the time elapsed since his disappearance he may appear confused. “Police are focusing their efforts on searching the area of Dronfield and neighbouring Sheffield areas, utilising specialist search teams and working with mountain rescue and partner agencies. “Officers are also asking residents in the area to check their gardens and outbuildings in case Mr Herbert has taken shelter.” Mr Herbert is 5ft 7in, of stocky build, with short cropped hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a red football shirt and jeans. Police are urging anyone who sees a man fitting this description to contact them on 101.
