  1. I 2nd hardcores for the top soil, getting some delivered on Monday, decent price.
  2. Can this not be removed? Too much banter/bickering at a sensitive time for some.
  3. The range sells it but I wouldn't recommend that one, it's not very strong. Hardware shops at Greenhill and jordanthorpe sell it also. The ones from the hardware shops that I've bought were strong.
  4. I've sent you a message, have quite a few things you could have.
  5. http://www.stroke.org.uk/.../stroke-association-... For details please email collections@strokeassociationsupport.co.uk. We are always looking for skilled ... Saw an ad for these today, accept most things, they do free collections too
  6. just googled it, series 8 episodes 1-20 were shown in september ( narrows it down a bit ) only taken an interest to try and neb at the sheffield people proudly hanging their washing out in public!!
  7. we are the lucky one's then.. our black bin was emptied only one day late and our blue one's were as normal. (woodseats). I know chancet wood were only 1 day behind also.
  8. maybe the traffic " is crawling " because people see a snowflake and dash to their cars to drive home, you only need one person on a stretch of road that doesn't feel confident driving in snow and brakes most of the journey , then it holds everyone else back causing the crawling traffic, roads are quieter at this time also, so snow will settle quicker, all common sense to understand really! it's not all down to the gritters. Winter weather eh!!
  9. my car has been showered in grit three times today while working/driving in south of sheff. bins got emptied only a day late... in my opinion sheff council aren't doing a bad job at all.
  10. newfield green charity shop accepts electrical items, all my not needed fibre optic xmas tree's went there... shame to take things to the tip when someone could make use of them.
  11. Well in that case i'll jump on board...... How dare the council not tell us the only dry entrance to the park is blocked for cars. it just isn't possible to gain access or walk more than 50 yards, do they not know by now us sheffield lot are so so idle and can't manage a pram and a dog. infact the council should be called upon to slurp those puddles up off the tarmac paths in the park. If they rufuse then hair dryers at the ready!!! Talk about an over reaction, ( sorry emily but it really is )
  12. norton church entrance, walk past the top animal part then the ducks are there that emily wanted to feed, the path can be managed with prams, a bit further down from blocked entrance is another entrance, next to the pavillion, a small walk then the cafe is there that sells the nice burgers. as for the car park can you imagine everyone parking in there while lorries are loading and moving.... running kids, dogs jumping out of the car, unecessary risk wouldn't you say.
